Farrar & Farrar was asked to concept a catalog to announce the grand opening of the new Eatons department stores in Canada. Graphics, photography and copy celebrate the stores new contemporary image.
The graphics generate a filmic energy using vertical panels, cropped images and color transparent panels. The photography is clear, yet includes elements that are unexpected...a foot peeking out of the sheets, an exquisite gown on the beach, kids so active that they jump off the page. The copy capitalizes on the new corporate identity and reinforces the lower case "e" logo with the use of words like energy, exquisite, express and emerge throughout the editorial vellums.
