For over 50 years, when there is a parade, a funeral, an honor guard, or a marching band, the Glendale Catalog supplies the pageantry. They requested that Farrar & Farrar update their image.
As a B-to-B catalog, Glendale had always maintained a rigid, packed page design; over 14.000 SKU's made for a very tight fit. We used color panels and/or stock photos on the pacer spreads to identify categories and highlight in-depth information about product, we reorganized the pages with a lay consumer in mind, and we used white space accented by patriotic reds and blues to create the crispness one associates with the military.
The logo was redesigned and the new graphics were carried into the website and the newsletter.
