As a family-owned business since 1878, Lion Brand Yarns is one of the oldest and largest suppliers to home knitters. Whether in specialty stores, major retail chains, catalogs, custom publishing ventures, or their website, Lion Brand Yarns are known for innovation and quality. What they felt missing however, was a consumer vehicle that could drive traffic to the web, but inspire, educate and entertain, at the same time conveying the warmth, texture and color of their products. Farrar & Farrar was hired to design a format for the publication, as well as national advertising, and updated web graphics.
